I am a first-year PhD student in Computer Science at UC Berkeley and a researcher at the world-renowned Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research (BAIR) Lab. My research focuses on new methods in AI for scientific discovery, as well as for advancing genetics and genomics.

Previously, I worked on deep learning and its applications in population genetics with Alexander Ioannidis at Stanford University and the UC Santa Cruz Genomics Institute, and on quantum machine learning for high-energy physics with Sergei Gleyzer at ML4SCI.
I graduated as valedictorian with a Bachelor's Degree in Data Science and Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), with exchanges at ETH Zurich and Stanford University.
We can only see a short distance ahead, but we can see plenty there that needs to be done.
