I am a first-year PhD student in Computer Science at UC Berkeley and a researcher at the world-renowned Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research (BAIR) Lab. My research focuses on new methods in AI for scientific discovery and to advance genetics and genomics.

I have also worked on deep learning and its applications in population genetics with Alexander Ioannidis at Stanford University and the UC Santa Cruz Genomics Institute, and on quantum machine learning for high-energy physics with Sergei Gleyzer at ML4SCI.

I graduated as valedictorian with a Bachelor's Degree in Data Science and Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), with exchanges at ETH Zurich and Stanford University.
